Participants in this class are required to attend all classes, come to class on time, take an active part in discussion, and hand in assigned work when it is due.

 

 All papers should be delivered in printed form only.  Late papers will be downgraded.

 

Two papers, each ten to fourteen pages in length, and three reading journals, each three pages long, are required.

 

There is a useful Selected Bibliography of critical books and articles on Faulkner in the Norton edition of The Sound and the Fury, pp. 443-446.
