Jordan Suter (Ph.D., 2007, Cornell University) is an environmental economist with special interest in issues of land use and water quality. In conducting his research, he has employed laboratory economics experiments to analyze mechanisms that seek to reduce nonpoint source pollution. He has also analyzed spatially derived data to evaluate participation in and design of land conservation programs and to measure public preferences for open space land. He currently teaches courses in environmental and natural resource economics as well as principles of economics.
