Shreemoy Mishra was recently awarded his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to pursuing graduate studies in economics he earned a masters degree in operations research and industrial engineering from the University of Texas. He completed his undergraduate education at the National Institute of Technology in India. His research interests are in applied game theory and industrial organization. He is particularly interested in the strategic collection and disclosure of private information with applications to consumer privacy, price discrimination, and the interactions between credit and insurance markets.
