Asia House Program Liaison
The Program in East Asian Studies invites applications for the position of Asia House Program Liaison for 2007-2008. The position is described in detail below. The Asia House Program Liaison is a part-time position responsible for overseeing programming generated by the committees and residents of Asia House. The liaison will advise and meet with the committee chairpersons on a regular basis, and will work in close cooperation with residents, staff members, and faculty.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance and leadership in matters related to programming.
- Assist in developing a wide range of cultural, educational, and developmental programs which will impact the overall growth and experience of residents.
- Support interaction from members of the community outside of Asia House and Oberlin College.
- Attend Asia House council meetings.
- Act as a contact person with the East Asian Studies program.
- Work in close contact with Residential Life staff members.
REQUIREMENTS
- Resident of Asia House in 2007-08
- At least one year of prior residency in Asia House

- Junior or senior class status
COMPENSATION
- Approximately $100.00 per month
