每逢金秋，当我走进教室看到一张张新面孔时，都会抑制不住心中的兴奋。教了这么多年的中文，年年都有新鲜感。是学生们对中国语言文化的浓厚兴趣与孜孜以求，使我的课有了生命，使我的工作有了意义。对我们的学生，我要衷心地说：欢迎，谢谢。
Having taught Chinese
for almost twenty years, my heart still beats faster every
fall when I meet with new students. The excitement
and energy they bring to my classes keeps me young.
It gives me great pride and pleasure to be able to talk
about history, literature and politics in Chinese with
students who did not know a single Chinese word when they
first walked into our elementary Chinese class.
My students give life to my classes and meaning to my
work. For these selfish reasons, I Welcome and Thank
all my students for coming to Oberlin Chinese Program. |
