becoming an entrepreneurship scholar

The Entrepreneurship Scholars Program selects students based on their leadership capabilities, their passion for exploring an original idea, and their interest in engaging with professionals and peers who have diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.

Applicants must have an idea they wish to explore further. This idea can be in the concept phase, or it can be more developed. Applicants should have a basic outline of the activities that they will pursue outside of the seminar week related to making progress on their idea.

Examples of these activities include going on tour, doing market research, developing a product, offering a service, shadowing relevant professionals, or doing a feasibility study.

Applicants should complete the written application by November 10, 2008. Applicants may be invited to participate in a second application round, which will consist of a 3-5 minute presentation of their idea and group interview activities. This will take place on November 12, 2008.
