All the staff of The Counseling Center are generalists, and are trained to work with many different developmental and psychological concerns. However, over time, we each gain experience and expertise in particular areas. Some of my special interests include:

  • depression
  • biofeedback and stress management
  • perfectionism and procrastination

I have also worked with many Conservatory students struggling with performance anxiety. In addition, I have had first-hand experience with first-generation college student issues and poverty, and have worked with many students of similar background.

I have been involved in college counseling for the past 20 years, and enjoy the intelligence and creativity Oberlin College students bring to the counseling experience.
