The Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Cleveland Orchestra are proud to announce the annual Cooper International Violin Competition at Oberlin.
Beginning in summer 2010, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music joined with the Cleveland Orchestra to offer an important new international competition for young musicians. The competition awarded more than $20,000 in prize money plus a performance with the orchestra.

The young pianist has since performed at the White House, has won first prize in the 2010 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, and became the youngest performer to receive the Gilmore Young Artist Award (2012).
