Admissions College Horizons
- College prep workshop for Native Americans designed to assist students with college selection, essay writing, the college application process, standardized test preparation, and financial aid/scholarships. Students learn about a broad variety of colleges and establish personal relationships with college representatives and counselors that continue long after the program concludes.

This institute offers instruction in baroque instruments, voice, and dance. Students of all levels--from beginning to professional to retirees--participate in master classes and coached ensembles with an international faculty of baroque specialists. Scholarships are available for qualified high-school students.

Institute of Vocal Performance Pedagogy
A unique opportunity for intensive study of technical and practical aspects of performance. Systematic vocal technique covers breath managment, vocal onset, agility, sostenuto, vowel definition an dmoficiation, vocal registration, the even scale, range extension, and dynamic control. Participant master classes and informal recitals. For teachers of singing, professional singers, and college-age voice students.

Oberlin Piano Competition and Festival
An international competition for high-school age pianists and a symposium on the piano music of Frederic Chopin. Featuring lectures, private lessons, concets, master classes and lectures by Oberlin Conservatory faculty members and invited guests. For students, teachers, and pianists, high-school age and older (80% are aged 14-18, 20% are over 18).

Three week academic program for gifted students grades 4-11. Recreational, social, cultural, artistic, creative and athletic activities are integral components of the academic program designed to maximize the talents and skills of gifted students.

Academy for high school organists designed specifically for students who have completed their sophomore, junior and senior years of high school who are considering possible undergraduate study.

To instruct junior high and high school participants in cheerleading and dance material and information.

Week long camp which provides a professional foundation for performing in the musical theatre. It offers intensive training in acting, voice, movement, dancing and singing.

Violin Makers Workshop
The 14th annual intensive 2 week workshop covering many areas of fine instrument restoration. Students work side by side with some of the country's best restoration experts. The workshop includes lectures, demonstrations, and individual work with instructors.

Vocal Academy for High School Students
Designed to offer high school singers the opportunity to explore the many facets involved in developing their art. Technical work includes the development of posture, breathing, phonation, resonance, and articulation. Master classes in performance practice, style phrasing, and textual communication. Special classes cover preparation for auditions, stage deportment, characterizations, and presentation of songs. Acting sessions include movement, improvisation, nonverbal communication, and role development.

Workshop in Electronic and Computer Music
Consecutive, progressive workshope covering synthesizer operations and programming, sampling and sound editing, MIDI software, sound synthesis, algorithmic composition, digital effects processing, sequencing, alternate MIDI controllers, and music printing. For high-school and college students, teachers, amateurs, and professionals.

The Yellow Ball Tennis Camp offers a weekend clinic for adults of all ability levels, and five junior sessions for youth of all ability levels. The adult clinic is a fourteen-hour program of instruction and video tape analysis. A special program for advanced players/returnees emphasizing drills and strategy is offered at each clinic.
