The Life and Times of Monteverdi

Joining Michael Lynn on the Monteverdi discussion panel are: Dr. Ross Duffin, professor of early music at Case Western Reserve University; Donald Rosenberg, senior music critic of The Plain Dealer; and Jeannette Sorrell, music director of Apollo's Fire. Under discussion will be the relationship between the arts and the humanities during Monteverdi's era. Attendees will have a chance to ask the panel questions about the historical and cultural context of Monteverdi's work.

The event takes place on Sunday, May 6, at 11:30 a.m. at Judson Manor, located at 1890 East 107th Street, Cleveland, Ohio, in the University Circle area. Tickets are $8 and available by calling the Apollo's Fire's office, 1-800-314-2535.
