B.A., Kalamazoo College, 1975; M.M., University of Michgan, 1977. Additional studies as a doctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.

Tour of Japan, Hawaii, and Seattle with Inoue Chamber Ensemble. Member, National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS); 2006 NATS Master Teacher. Former faculty member, St. Olaf College (1977-82), University of California (1987-93).
