Whiting Fellowship in the Humanities, 1997-98; Mellon Research Grant,
1995, 1996. Editorial Assistant, Journal of Music Theory, 1996-1998.
Papers presented at the New England, Midwest, and West Coast regional
theory societies, the national meeting of the Society for Music Theory,
and the Buffalo Symposium on Neo-Riemannian Theory. His article “Dual
Interval Space in Twentieth-Century Music," appears in Music Theory
Spectrum, volume 25.1.
Performances:
Solo and chamber music performances as part of the Boston Chamber Ensemble,
Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, Harvard Bach Society Orchestra, Aspen Philharmonia,
and the Seattle Youth Symphony.
Teaching Background:
Visiting faculty member at Oberlin (1998-2000); former faculty member,
University of Connecticut (2000-2001). Appointed 2001.
