In past years, the ensemble has been featured at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; Jazz Aspen Snowmass; the Detroit, Elmhurst, and Notre Dame jazz festivals; top performance venues in Cleveland, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Washington D.C., Kansas City, Philadelphia, Denver, Richmond, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida; and at many high schools and arts programs throughout the United States. The members of the OJS for 2007-08 are: trombonist Matt Davis ’08, from Woodside, California; guitarist Henry Heinitsh ’08, from Brevard, North Carolina; saxophonist Tim McKay ’08, from Albany, California; double bassist Chris Mees ’09, from San Diego, California; drummer Jake Robinson ‘08, from Whately, Massachusetts; trumpeter Truan Savage ’08, from New York, New York; and pianist Isaac Sussman '10, from Larchmont, New York. |
