Daniel
Sullivan '02 was the featured performer in the recital series of the
Chicago Chapter of the American Guild of Organists in April 2002 at Grace
Lutheran Church in River Forest, Illinois. Sullivan earned the spot by
winning first prize in the 2002 Gruenstein Memorial Organ Competition,
sponsored by the Chicago Chapter. His career at Oberlin was marked by
attendance at the prestigious advanced academy at the Oundle
International Festival in Peterborough, U.K., which awarded him the rare
opportunity to present four performances in England during the summer
of 2001. He is now enrolled at Yale University's master of music program
and intends to pursue a doctor of musical arts degree. Sullivan studied
with Professor of Organ Haskell
Thomson.
