Fulkerson Performs in Faculty Recital with Live Broadcast on WCLV, 104.9 FM By Joanna Chang
			Professor of Violin Gregory Fulkerson will perform the Complete Unaccompanied Violin Sonatas and Partitas by Johann Sebastian Bach in two recitals-- Saturday, January 19 and Wednesday, January 23, 2002 in Kulas Hall. These performances will be broadcast live on WCLV, 104.9 FM, Cleveland's classical music radio station. Both concerts, which begin at 8:00 P.M., are free and open to the public. Fulkerson's recording of these works on the Bridge label has received the honor of a New Yorker Magazine Disk of Distinction. "Live broadcasts are an important new addition to the Conservatory’s promotional operations," says David Daniels, Director of Public Relations for the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. "This technology allows the Conservatory to broadcast its long list of talents not only over Cleveland’s airwaves, but also over airwaves on other radio stations throughout the country."
