Oberlin alumna Denyce Graves ('81 - '84, Hon. DMus '98) will appear with her husband, guitarist David Perry, on CNN's Larry King Live Tuesday, November 6, between 9:00 and 10:00 P.M. They will perform "American Anthem" by Gene Scheer, one of several songs on Graves' new compact disc recording, Memorial. All proceeds from the sale of the CD, which is available at www.denycegraves.com and in stores on the RCA Red Seal label (under the title American Anthem) benefit the American Red Cross. Graves' performance of America the Beautiful at Washington's National Cathedral in the days following the September 11 terrorist attacks has received considerable acclaim.
