Mobberley Concert

Three composers renowned for their work in film and electronic music will present lectures and masterclasses at the Conservatory in February and March, and their work will be showcased in upcoming concerts. All events are sponsored by the Contemporary Music division.

Award-winning composer James Mobberley's works will be presented in a free, public concert Wednesday, February 7 at 8:00 PM in Kulas Recital Hall. The program will feature performances by Conservatory faculty, students, and the composer.

A Guggenheim fellow, Mobberley is a professor of composition at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He will give a master class, open to the public, Wednesday, February 7 from 3 to 4 PM in Studio 2, located in the basement of Bibbins.

Forthcoming events will feature the works of composers Gary Chang and Halim El-Dabh.
