Sound Fishes (1992) by Pauline Oliveros

"Listening for what has not yet sounded, like a fisherman waiting for a nibble or a bite. Pull the sound out of the air like a fisherman catching a fish, sensing its size and energy - when you hear. When you hear the sound, play it. Move to another location if there are no nibbles or bites. There are sounds in the air like sounds in the water. When the water is clear, you might hear the sounds."

Animal House (1999) by Stuart Dempster

Elephantasia
Tiger Raga
Seal of Approval

When these animals gather in the Cat in the Cream, one can expect a fantasy on sounds, sights, and perhaps smells. This should be good barking, howling, and trumpeting fun as well as an excursion - perhaps in the literal sense - into secret lives of these animals, and maybe even those not yet known to us.

Deep Hockets (1994) by David Gamper

In Deep Hockets, the performers begin with similar short delay settings. They improvise phrases that will interlock with the delayed versions of their own and each others phrases (thus the reference to the musical term "hocket" in the title). Using a foot pedal, they can then step through a series of rhythmically related delay times which also changes their pitch materials harmonically. As they play, melodic phrases and rhythmic patterns emerge and are reinforced or developed independently.
