Eleven Reasons to Visit the Career Resource Center

Davidson ('91) has designed lights at Dance Theater Workshop, the Guggenheim Museum at Lincoln Center, and for Yo-Yo Ma in Japan and a five-city U.S. tour. She served as production manager and lighting designer for numerous Oberlin student and professional dance events in Warner and Hall auditoriums. She also has taught stage management.

  • Browse lists of competitions in your area of interest.

  • Browse lists of festivals for your area of interest.
  • Take home application materials and information for festivals.

3. Graduate Schools

  • International and national information on graduate programs.
  • Get a GRE prep booklet!

4. Internships

  • Browse our binder of internships in the recording industry, production, arts administration, web design and programming, CD-ROM production, film, and more!

5. Jobs

  • Yes! There are jobs in music!
  • Check out our binders of job openings listed by instrument or area of interest.
  • Look for job openings in one of the monthly job posting publications.

6. Résumé Writing Help

  • Bring in your résumé and we'll look at it together.
  • Don't have a résumé? Come in and get started! It's easy!

7. Scholarships, Fellowships and Grants

  • Considering graduate study but don't know how you'll afford it? Come in and browse our binders of scholarships, fellowships and grants.
