Mary Nelson

Mary Nelson has taught at Purdue University, Bowling Green State University's preparatory department, the Oberlin Conservatory (aural skills), and at public schools in Missouri and Ohio.

Nelson taught instrumental music for 10 years at St. Jude Elementary School in Elyria; she has held the same position at St. Mary Elementary School in Elyria since 1986. She also taught flute at the New England Music Camp in Maine for four years, and she has been a member of the Interlochen Arts Camp flute faculty since 1985.

She has maintained a private flute studio for over 30 years, teaching flute performance to students of all ages and levels.
