Andrea McAlister
BM, MM, and DMA (piano performance and pedagogy), University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music

Andrea McAlister is assistant professor of piano pedagogy and director of the Community Music School at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She has previously taught studio piano and piano pedagogy at Capital University, Ohio Wesleyan University, and the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. McAlister has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Italy, including several performances at the Aspen Music Festival and Rome Festival. Locally, she has performed with the Cleveland Opera and the Cleveland Chamber Symphony. She is widely recruited as an adjudicator and clinician on 20th-century piano repertoire.
