Katie Cross brings 20 years of experience in teaching and a wide variety of techniques to her piano studio, employing early childhood psychology and methods training in her teaching. She is Suzuki certified through Book 7, has Dalcroze Eurhythmics and Orff certifications, and is experienced in Alexander technique.

Ms. Cross is knowledgeable in music of other cultures, with a special interest in Afro-Cuban music. She also has a solid musical background in recorder, violin, voice and music theory, e.g. Music Mind Games. Her goal in teaching is to help each student gain the confidence to uncover their unique talents.
