wilder desk student getting paper

Welcome to the Wilder Student Union information desk -- one of the main hubs of Oberlin student life. At this desk, students buy tickets for concerts and plays, pick up a copy of The New York Times, get the key for their student organization's office, or find out about bus schedules. There are more than 100 student organizations at Oberlin and most have offices in Wilder. The Student Union also houses the Dean of Students Office, the Multicultural Resource Center, the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, the Oberlin Student Cooperative Association (OSCA), the radio station WOBC, and the Experimental College (ExCo).

Most students spend a lot of free time in Wilder. The basement houses Decafé (a snack bar and mini-convenience store), the 'Sco (a dance club that has DJ's and live bands), the Rathskeller (a sit-down restaurant), and most importantly, the mailroom (shown below). Students visit the mailroom daily, hoping for letters or care packages from home.
