Oberlin Commencement & Reunion 2008

Attendance of alumni, parents and friends for the 2008 Commencement/Reunion Weekend is breaking records! Housing and many events have already sold out.

Commencement/Reunion Weekend will take place Friday, May 23, through Monday, May 26. Commencement Exercises will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m.on Tappan Square. More than 600 students are expected to receive degrees on Memorial Day and hundreds of alumni will also return to the campus over the weekend to take part in reunion gatherings and to attend special events.

This year’s Commencement/Reunion Weekend will feature Oberlin College’s 175th anniversary, as well as events to commemorate Oberlin Shansi’s 100th anniversary. Marvin Krislov will also be celebrating his first Commencement/Reunion Weekend as college president, so we look forward to his presence at many of the weekend's events.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus for this festive weekend!
