Richard Stuebi

BP Fellow for Energy and Environmental Advancement, The Cleveland Foundation

Richard Stuebi joined The Cleveland Foundation in March 2006 as the BP Fellow for Energy and Environmental Advancement, where he works with various public and private sector stakeholders to promote commercial activity in advanced energy in the Cleveland area.

Richard has over 20 years of experience as an executive, entrepreneur and consultant in the energy industry. He is the founder of NextWave Energy, a professional firm to assist emerging and established private-sector clients with energy interests in various aspects of business development, including strategy and capital formation.

During the 1990’s, Richard was a Senior Vice President of business development at Louis Dreyfus Energy, and before that a management consultant in the energy practice at McKinsey & Co. Previously, Richard began his professional career at ICF Resources, a leading energy-focused economic and environmental consulting firm.

Richard earned degrees in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1984) and Stanford University (1986).
