We are
looking for Technology
Services Center Consultants, Help Desk Consultants, Equipment
Maintenance Technicians and Network Assistants for
2008-2009. Please apply in person in CIT or by submitting

This is a list
of the Student Employment Positions in CIT. Click on the position
name for more detailed job descriptions. The postions are listed
in order of pay rate.
- Remote
Site Monitors (RSMs) - check labs daily, resolve basic
computer problems, create work-orders as necessary, stock supplies
(paper, toner).
- Equipment
Maintenance Technicians - resolve computer and printer
hardware problems; perform preventive maintenance.
- Technology
Services Center Consultants - work
in the Academic Commons computer lab and work in the residence
halls, assisting students on Macs and Windows PCs with applications,
special equipment and printing, as well as troubleshoot and resolve
problems with student-owned computers.
- Network
Assistant - assist
Network Administrators and/or Network Technician with installation
of equipment/systems/cabling, and with troubleshooting and
repair of network problems.
- Computer
Store Assistant - assists
in providing customer services in the Oberlin College Computer
Store.
- Help
Desk Consultants - troubleshoot and resolve computer
and account problems brought to the Help Desk by faculty, staff,
and students.
