The Center for Information Technology will provide you with all the software that you need to get on the internet. In order to register initially, all you really need is to have a web browser installed. If you have not registered your connection, click below:

http://dhcp.cc.oberlin.edu/

All of the software, you can install it yourself, or, if you are willing to wait a week or two, your RCC can install it for you. Besides a web browser, we can provide you with the preferred campus e-mail program (Cyrusoft's Mulberry), Network Associate's VirusScan (for Windows) and Virex (for Macintosh) anti-virus software, Novell Netware client and several other internet utilities.

All of this software is available on the Oberlin College CIT software download site*, the Oberlin College CIT and Resnet CD or on Softserv (Learn how to access softserv here.)

* The CIT Download site is only available when you are connected on campus.
