Increasing your print quota

With the advent of the Pharos UniPrint system, there are new methods for adding pages to your print quota. Everyone (students, most staff and faculty) initially received a Free Print quota of $10.50, for a total of 150 single-sided pages, or 233 double-sided pages. Once this free account is depleted, printing is accomplished using ObieDollars. Thus, anyone desiring to print from the public printers must have an active ID card, with a valid T# and magnetic stripe. If you do not, please visit ResLife in Peters G20, M-F, 9 AM-4:30 PM.
Below are the methods for increasing your print quota:
METHOD DESCRIPTION
Value Transfer Station (VTS)

Value Transfer Stations are located in the main Library, Science Library, and Conservatory Library. Using these stations, you can insert your OCID card and add money to your ObieDollars. This can then be used for printing purposes (as well as for other purchases where ObieDollars can be used). If you do not have an OCID card, then you can use the VTS to purchase a Guest Card to be used for printing and copying purposes. (Note: Initial cost of the Guest Card is 50¢; thus, the initial purchase will automatically be decremented a one-time fee of 50¢.)

Add ObieDollars You can add ObieDollars to your OCID by visiting ResEd in Stevenson Hall Hall during working hours, M-F, 9 AM- 4:30 PM. Once you use all of your free print allotment, the system automatically uses ObieDollars for printing. You MUST have a positive balance in your ObieDollars account for printing to function. In other words, printing costs must be paid up front; they cannot be built up on your term bill.
