OCTET

The Oberlin Center for Technologically Enhanced Teaching (OCTET) is part of the central CIT orgnization. OCTET functions to facilitate the use of technology by faculty and students in the academic environment.

OCTET provides detailed information and services online, including information on:

• Blackboard, an online course management system
• Technology classrooms throughout campus
• "How-to" documents, providing tips on commonly-used software
• Services provided through OCTET (i.e., creating pdf docs, creating DVDs, scanning, etc.).
