We had to install a security patch on our mail server which had the unfortunate consequence of causing ObieMail to no longer function on Macintosh computers when using the Internet Explorer (IE) browser. We have thus recommended that most Mac users use Safari, Firefox, or Mozilla as their web browser when using ObieMail. Mac OS 9 users will need to use Netscape 7.01, provided online. IE continues to work on Macs for other applications.

An additional problem which has subsequently become apparent on Macs is the inability to print an entire message if it goes beyond what is viewable on the screen. There are work-arounds for this for all three of the browsers mentioned.
