Gateway Computer is donating a Portable TabletPC (M285) on behalf of an Oberlin College staff's family member. The computer will be used by SFC Robert B. Cuthbertson who was seriously injured while serving in Iraq. An IED destroyed his vehicle while injuring several others. Robert is currently going through extensive rehab at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. Robert sustained burns to over 40% of his body, mostly to his right side. The TabletPC will be used to help speed up his recovery and physical therapy through the use of keyboarding and handwriting exercises. Dragon Systems has also provided Robert with voice activated software to run on the Tablet to access the internet and e-mail. Gateway wishes Robert the best of luck and a successful recovery.
