These applications are available for users to install on their own computers. Users can download the McAfee and Sophos products from the CIT downloads web page (must be done from campus network). Users (faculty and students) desiring Mathematica should contact the Help Desk. Microsoft Agreement: CIT has a faculty/staff license for Microsoft products (Office, upgrades for Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems, FrontPage, VStudio.net). Faculty and staff may purchase CDs from the Computer Store Manager, Walt Owens (Mudd 002, x58009) for installation on home computers (as long as the intended usage is work-related). This license does not allow for installations of Microsoft products on student-owned computers. Students may obtain software at educationally-discounted prices through the Computer Store. |
