The web interface to OCMail, found at http://ocmail.oberlin.edu, contains a link to the Oberlin College Start Page, which may also be reached directly at http://ocapps.oberlin.edu. The Start Page will eventually contain links to other productivity tools, such as a Calendar and Documents, which can then be shared amongst users. The Start Page has been set initially to include some basic "gadgets" (simple HTML and JavaScript applications that can be embedded in web pages and other applications), including those providing access to OCMail, weather, news, and word-of- the-day.

Once logged in, additional gadgets may be added by each individual user by clicking on the "Add Stuff" link and selecting the desired gadget. Gadgets may also be deleted as desired. The intent of the Start Page is for each individual user to create a personalized Start Page that is modified as desired, while still providing access on one page to College resources and productivity tools.
