Certain parts are in better shape than others. For example, all of the rooms are in very nice condition, the hall ways and common rooms are a little more ragged. The funiture is falling apart but very comfortable. This is a cozy house once you get settled in. Temperature Is the residence well insulated? Yes Are there window screens? Yes Are there storm windows? Yes Is the residence warm enough? Yes Is it hard to regulate the heat? (For example, does the thermostat work? Do you have to open windows in the winter?): No Comments on any of the above (temperature): Some areas of the house are not as well insulated as others, but thanks to the OSCA properties committee that oversees the house, Fuller's energy issues are frequently addressed. It is easy to heat up the house and it never gets too cold even in the winter. Relationship With Landlord Does s/he enter the premises without your consent or without giving legal notice? No Have you observed on the part of the landlord/landlady discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.? No Is the landlord/landlady willing to make repairs? If yes, comment on how promptly (below): Yes Have you had any disagreements with your landlord/landlady concerning who has the responsibility for making the repairs? No Do you expect to have any problems getting your security deposit returned? If yes, why? (Explain below.): No Have you had any major disagreements with your landlord/landlady? (Explain below.): No If yes, have you taken any legal action concerning the disagreement? (Explain below.): No Explanations and comments: Fuller is a need based residence. Therefore, one must apply to live thier and only students who have shown a demonstrated need for cheap housing can live there. However, if there are not enough need based applications recieved, the house is opened up to the general public but they must fill out an application as well. Also, OSCA pays for most of the repairs done to the house and is very quick in responding to complaints. Neighborhood & Location Are your neighbors towns-people, students, or a mix? Mix For whom is the noise level appropriate? School children Problems with location? None of the above Comments on the neighborhood: Being right across the street from Tank with non-student nieghbors and a park in the back yard gives this location an interesting feel to it. Usually things in the nieghborhood are calm but can get lively. Things rarely get too noisey or out of hand.
