Temperature Is the residence well insulated? No Are there window screens? Yes Are there storm windows? No Is the residence warm enough? No Is it hard to regulate the heat? (For example, does the thermostat work? Do you have to open windows in the winter?): Yes Comments on any of the above (temperature): Also it is very cold despite the heat being turned way up. the downstairs, esp. the kitchen is constantly freezing, despite our 400$ heating bills. this is probably the coldest and most expensive heating situation in oberlin, trust me. Howver the rent is cheap for how big and beautiful the house it so that sort of compensates. No Have you observed on the part of the landlord/landlady discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.? No Is the landlord/landlady willing to make repairs? Timely, friendly, understanding, handy, all-around great. Neighborhood & Location Are your neighbors towns-people, students, or a mix? Mix For whom is the noise level appropriate? School children Problems with location? None of the above Comments on the neighborhood: right by Langston Middle school- nice. Right by keep- not nice. Those loud ass children annoy the hell out of me. Plus someone insists on playing a recorder through the streets at night, its loud and annoying. Also living on N.Main is really loud (trucks) but walnut is nice.
