Comments on condition:
Houses were built 1-2 years ago, so everything is fairly new. However, some of the construction is a little shoddy (crooked light switches, thin walls, only one coat of paint). This is not a big problem for now, but may be several years down the road.

Explanations and comments:
Eric is really laid-back. This is good for things like rent, deposit, etc. This does mean that sometimes minor repairs (e.g. repairing doorbell, replacing cabinet door, etc.) go unfixed for a while. However, he is good about responding to major repairs right away.
