Comments on condition:
Had 3 bats in the summer, all mice are gone.
New kitchen sink.
Marti keeps the place well maintained - things aren't brand new, but they all work very well and I know she'll fix whatever has problems.

Temperature
Is the residence well insulated? Yes
Are there window screens? Yes
Are there storm windows? Yes
Is the residence warm enough? Yes
Is it hard to regulate the heat?
(For example, does the thermostat work? Do you have to open windows in the winter?): Yes

Comments on any of the above (temperature):
The renter below chooses the heat. We don't pay for it. It's always warm enough, but the front door is really poorly insulated. Luckily it's downstairs.

Relationship With Landlord

Does s/he enter the premises without your consent or without giving legal notice? No

Have you observed on the part of the landlord/landlady discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.? No

Is the landlord/landlady willing to make repairs? If yes, comment on how promptly (below): Yes

Have you had any disagreements with your landlord/landlady concerning who has the responsibility for making the repairs? Yes

Do you expect to have any problems getting your security deposit returned? If yes, why? (Explain below.): Yes

Have you had any major disagreements with your landlord/landlady? (Explain below.): No

If yes, have you taken any legal action concerning the disagreement? (Explain below.): No

Explanations and comments:
Marti repairs things quickly. She wanted me to pay for the bat removal. She's a bit anal about paint, so I'm sure I won't get all of my deposit back because she prorates for painting, but what I do get back will be returned promptly, I'm sure.

Neighborhood & Location
Are your neighbors towns-people, students, or a mix? Townspeople
For whom is the noise level appropriate? Sleeping baby
Problems with location? None of the above

Comments on the neighborhood:
It's a beautiful neighborhood with lots of professors and families. I can see the res from the front yard. The worst problem is that the downstairs neighbor takes care of dogs and doesn't poop scoop very well.
