Explanations and comments:
Don and Jill Soltis are ridiculously bad landlords. Any repairs that need to be made for the house, i.e. screen door breaks, terrible electrical smells fill the house to the point that the fire department needs to be called, etc. they try to charge us for. We have had to threaten them with legal action on several occasions before they agreed to cover the charges. They have made anti-semitic remarks to us and have told us to "go call our parents and have them pay the bill" when the house required repairs that were the Soltis' obligation to fix. They are incredibly stingy, rude people who try to bully us into putting up with their inadequate services. They have screamed at us numerous times on the telephone and in person. I would avoid living in a house of theirs at ALL COSTS. They have cheated us, verbally assualted us, made inappropriate remarks, refused to assist us when the house has problems claiming that WE caused them, and have been terrible. They are also away a considerable portion of the year and this leads to complications regarding repairs. When we called to find out why our water had been turned off they could offer no explanation other than to contact the Utility department. They had no idea that down the street massive repairs to the waterline were being done and our water would be out for several hours. Compared to our other landlords in previous years, the Soltis' are not only unreliable, uncivilized, and unhelpful, but go out of their way to make any phone call or request you have seem burdensome and unpleasant. I would strongly advise any potential tenant to try and find a house that is not owned by them.

Neighborhood & Location
Are your neighbors towns-people, students, or a mix? Mix
For whom is the noise level appropriate? Sleeping baby
Problems with location? None of the above

Comments on the neighborhood:
The neighborhood is wonderful. Aside from the occasional loud college party in the new houses on Union Street, the area is great. Lots of dogs, cats, and professors who are really nice.
