Also, could hear roommates having sex half the house away. Temperature Is the residence well insulated? No Are there window screens? Yes Are there storm windows? No Is the residence warm enough? No Is it hard to regulate the heat? (For example, does the thermostat work? Do you have to open windows in the winter?): Yes Comments on any of the above (temperature): Wow, the heat was the worst. At first, we weren't even sure it worked, then we discovered that it did, but only for 2 rooms. In those 2 rooms it would get blazing hot, while right next door it would be 59 degrees in the living room, insane! Relationship With Landlord Does s/he enter the premises without your consent or without giving legal notice? No Have you observed on the part of the landlord/landlady discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.? No Is the landlord/landlady willing to make repairs? If yes, comment on how promptly (below): No Have you had any disagreements with your landlord/landlady concerning who has the responsibility for making the repairs? Do you expect to have any problems getting your security deposit returned? If yes, why? (Explain below.): Yes Have you had any major disagreements with your landlord/landlady? (Explain below.): Yes If yes, have you taken any legal action concerning the disagreement? (Explain below.): No Explanations and comments: I bought a trampoline in the winter, and she told me that I had to bring it down, which is acceptable, I suppose it is an insurance issue. However, I had trouble moving all my stuff out before we had to leave the house, so I assumed that I could leave it outside in the back and pick it up when I got back to town like a week later. When I did get back, not only had she taken it, she also took all of our safety deposits, something like $2300, and then proceeded to claim that she was mad at us for the condition the house was in. What the fuck? is our 2 thousand dollars not enough to fix a few holes in the wall and some burnt 10 cent carpet? Do you have to take my trampoline that I just bought for $350? What a fucking bitch, I still can't believe she was mad at us, I hate that bitch. Neighborhood & Location Are your neighbors towns-people, students, or a mix? Mix For whom is the noise level appropriate? Rowdy college students Problems with location? None of the above Comments on the neighborhood: Apparently it is scary to some people, I had a good time. We used to play soccer out in the street at night and no one really minded that much.
