Each room has it's own thermostat, which is nice so that we don't have to heat the whole house during the winter to save on the heat bill. We usually only keep the heat on in the bedrooms, unless we're going to be in another room for a long period of time, like to watch a movie or cook dinner, for example.

Eric is easily the best landlord in Oberlin. He fixes things extremely promptly, he lets us know far in advance when he is going to show the house, and he's just a generally friendly and helpful guy.

Comments on the neighborhood:
It is a little far from campus, but definitely well worth it. Eric owns most of the houses around here, so almost all of our neighbors are students.
