Temperature Is the residence well insulated? No Are there window screens? Are there storm windows? No Is the residence warm enough? No Is it hard to regulate the heat? (For example, does the thermostat work? Do you have to open windows in the winter?): Yes Comments on any of the above (temperature): I didn't live there this year, but I hear that the utilities are now included in the price of rent. Another poster has had a very different experience than I did. When I lived there, the house was constantly freezing even as we were paying upwards of $200 (split three ways) to heat it in the winter. Relationship With Landlord Does s/he enter the premises without your consent or without giving legal notice? No Have you observed on the part of the landlord/landlady discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.? No Is the landlord/landlady willing to make repairs? (Explain below.): No If yes, have you taken any legal action concerning the disagreement? (Explain below.): No Explanations and comments: Somethings were left unrepaired even after we were promised that they would be fixed. Other things were done as soon as they were brought up. Mr. Spieth is a very personable man, and fine as a landlord. No problems getting the security deposit back, though it wasn't fast by any means. Neighborhood & Location Are your neighbors towns-people, students, or a mix? Students For whom is the noise level appropriate? Rowdy college students Problems with location? None of the above Comments on the neighborhood:
