New First-Year Dorm to Open in Fall 2010

Construction is scheduled to begin this summer on the N. Professor St project, Oberlin's new First-Year Experience hall. The dormitory will be located just north of Stevenson and will house 150 incoming students.

Students Fight for Decafe Workers, Late Night Hours

The recession is on the news every day, but its effects hit home last week when Campus Dining Services announced it would cut costs by shortening Decafe's hours next semester. Hungry students would not let their late-night snacks go without a fight.

Soulive Brings the Gospel of Music Back to Finney Chapel

It was almost impossible to sit still during SOulive's performance in Finney Chapel last Friday, April 24. This was the case from the onset: The band opened with a pounding fast-paced and tight jazz-funk number that instantly flooded the venue with sound and had everyone up and dancing.
