Biography: Adriane Dellorco

Adriane Dellorco has a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a Minor in Spanish from Oberlin College (2003). Her interest in local and organic food began with her first organic garden in her hometown high school in North Hollywood, CA. During her entire four years at Oberlin, Adriane has worked to incorporate local and organic food into the College Dining Service. This website represents the culmination of her four years of effort and research in the area of bringing local and organic food to colleges.

Adriane is currently working with Karl Knopp of Ag Access Distribution to help improve the distribution of local foods in Ohio. When Adriane is not busy promoting the local foods revolution, she teaches and performs belly dance. Adriane hopes to one day have an organic grain CSA with her partner Nathan Sutter in Ojai, CA.
