1) CDS Brokering

Background
At a past meeting we had decided to have a 20% brokering charge to help
cover are expenses. When Ken and Brad met with a group of local farmers,
Ron Barkus thought 20% was high. Ken suggested 10%.
Discussion
-We are acting as the finder for this service. These farmers wouldn't have
set up this service otherwise
-Shawn Mcgovern of Low Presties told Brad they do a 30-40% mark up, which
includes delivery.
-Michelle Gross of the College is committed to local farmers, but
especially OSAP
-These farmers are just trying to do business and are bound to take a shot
at lower prices.
-We should not be under cut by other Farmers prices.
-Our goal is to help out community and local farmers, yet stay afloat.
Decision-David Benzing made a motion that we maintain our earlier decision
for a 20% fee for this year. Steve seconded this motion. All approved.
