Sodhexo-Marriott Quantifies Organic Purchases

Here is some information for you..............
We have been running the Organic bar at Stevenson since we've opened this
Fall. We added DeCafe
about 4 weeks ago.


The types of organic products( Stevenson) which we purchase are as follows:
Romaine
Mescalin Mix
Broccoli
Cucumbers
Cauliflower
Broccoli
tomatoes

We are currently purchasing about $800- 900 a week .......... we are
currently finding that the number of local products has been reduced
significantly since we opened in September. The reason is the Ohio growing
season
is coming to an end.
We are now relying more heavily on California as a major source.


One other interesting factor is that the shelf life of the organic produce
is about 1/3 less than
non- organic produce.

Finally we have been purchasing from FORC which will now allow us to begin
having organic dressing as well
in the near future.


DeCafe is currently offering 41 organic products and we are speniding
roughly $1000 a week to purchase
them.
