wrote about the event
-Had difficulty finding speakers because most farmers are very busy
-What went wrong
-Menu was not changed to feature local foods
-Stevenson did not write what was local in each dish like they said they
would
-Not many students came to talk with the speakers
-What should be done next time
-Have meal earlier in the semester for a greater variety of local food
-Work with CDS in the Spring to make sure that this is a scheduled theme
meal
-Make sure that you don't talk to just one manager, because the information
may not be relayed to everybody else
-Make the event a local foods week with speakers throughout the week
-Don't invite speakers to talk with students at Stevenson because nobody
will talk with them
-Have clear signage at each dish about what is local and organic in it
-Get to Stevenson very early to set up
-Be clear with CDS about who is doing what
-Have a larger display table with local foods
-Do not have dishes that do not feature local foods, like the sandwich
bar
