Throughout the academic year, students are able to change meal plans between OSCA and CDS. No changes are made the first two weeks of each semester; however, changes can be made every two weeks beginning the third week of each semester and ending on the first of the last month.
Changing from CDS to OSCA
Because there are limited spaces in OSCA, OSCA has a waitlist managed by the Membership Secretary/Director. To get on the waitlist, applicants should complete the waitlist form online. If a spot opens in their first choice co-op, students are automatically placed in the co-op and removed from the waitlist. If a spot opens in a second-choice or lower co-op, students are placed in that co-op and remain on the waitlist until an opening appears in one of their higher-ranked co-ops. Students who obtain OSCA dining will have their Meal Plans processed by CDS on designated Fridays upon notification from OSCA. Unused Flex Points do not transfer to the OSCA Board Program. OSCA invoices are processed and mailed to the student's OCMR. College credits will be reflected in the next month's term bill.
Changing from OSCA to CDS
Students must notify OSCA by 4 pm on the day of the request deadline by visiting the OSCA office and completing a "Housing and Dining Change Notification Form." Students should call or email if they are submitting a request on the morning of the deadline. After students have notified OSCA they should request their new CDS Meal Plan on the Meal Plan Change Form.
