A four-ounce portion of today’s entrée creates a CO2e of about 450 points.
If the entrée would have been:
        A 4 ounce pork chop = 750 CO2e points
        A 4-ounce portion of beef roast = 4800 CO2e points

A carbon point equals one gram of CO2e emissions of greenhouse gases. CO2e stands for carbon dioxide equivalent, which is an internationally accepted measure that expresses the amount of global warming from greenhouse gases. CO2e is not limited to carbon dioxide but also includes other greenhouse gases such as methane.
