Students enjoy an "all-you-can-eat" buffet-style dining hall in an intimate atmosphere. The dinner menu features traditional southern comfort cuisine and is developed with input from students.

By offering more local foods through our CDS Farm to Fork program and pledging to offer only antibiotic-free chicken, we are making strides towards healthier, more socially responsible dining in our Fit + Fabulous = In Balance! program.

Classic Comforts/Vegetarian Comforts

We use only choice grade meats and fresh grade A vegetables to prepare our classic comfort foods. Vegetarian comfort foods include items made with tofu, beans and other high quality protein sources.

Salad Bar

Lord/Saunders’ "all-you-can-eat" salad bar showcases locally grown produce when available and offers the best opportunity for vegetarian and vegan and low fat diets. Typically, the salad bar offers a variety of local fruits, spinach, mesclun and romaine mix of lettuces. Vegetables minimally include red, yellow and green bell peppers, shredded carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion slices, chickpeas, tofu, sunflower seeds, raisins, prepared deli-type salads, hummus, salsa, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and a variety of house made salad dressings. Fat free salad dressings are also available.

Beverage Center

Along with the standard beverage fare of fountain drinks, we offer juices, soy milk, natural 2% milk, natural chocolate milk, tea, and fair-trade coffee.

Dessert Bar

Baked goodies from the campus bakery fill this table. Cookies, cakes, pies, brownies and more are offered daily with vegan options. In addition, a sundae bar is located across from the Dessert Bar.
