Winter Term 2012 is scheduled from Wednesday, January 4 through Monday, January 30. The Business Scholars will begin the first few days of the Program on campus, gaining a foundation of business principles and familiarity with terms. Then it is off to Cleveland, followed by New York City, and finally to Boston for visits with alumni. During the month, Scholars will be divided into groups and assigned a Case Study. Case Study presentations will occur at the end of the program.

Who Can Participate?

The Program is open to all majors. Students are eligible to participate beginning in their second year at Oberlin. Ten to twelve Business Scholars will be selected through a competitive process.

What is the Cost?

All accommodations and other expenses are being subsidized by the generous funding provided by alumni. Students will be expected to cover miscellaneous expenses, including meals while in Oberlin and some while visiting other locations.

If you are interested, it is strongly encouraged that you attend an information meeting.

Dates and times for these sessions are as follows. Both sessions will be held in The Office of Career Services, Stevenson-Longman.

  • 5pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2011

If you cannot attend an information meeting, you should call 58140 to make other arrangements. You are also encouraged to talk to past scholars about their experiences.
